The Architecture Library is located on the 4th floor of Knowlton Hall.  Here, you'll find a robust collection of more than 60,000 books, journals, and audiovisual materials in addition to electronic databases to support the disciplines of Architecture, City/Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture.  As a land grant institution, we are open to the public.

To schedule a research consultation or classroom instruction, please contact the Head Librarian, Tina Franks, at franks.157@osu.edu.

In 2005, the library, designed by Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam with associate architects, Wandel and Schnell, won the prestigious AIA/ALA Library Building Award.  The Architecture Library is a two-story glass box, housing a classic chair collection (each designed by a famous architect or designer) along with an adjacent rooftop garden.
